To achieve this objective, a focus group study was conducted involving 25 entrepreneurs in Selangor. During the exercise, they were grouped into eight groups to brainstorm and discuss on various factors that affect their business success. A modified K-J Method was used to facilitate the process. At the end of the session, a number of factors emerged to be considered as important factors that affect business success. These factors comprise financing, online business encouragement, accounting system and taxation, government policy, and training and development. These factors pose significant implications to entrepreneurs and the economy as a whole. These implications will be discussed in detail in the paper.
