AIM & SCOPE
The Journal of Islamic Management Studies (JIMS) is an academically double-blind, peer-reviewed professional journal of the World Academy of Islamic Management (WAIM). The aim of the JIMS is to advance knowledge and practices in key areas of Islamic management and leadership. As such, the JIMS presents both theoretical and practical knowledge useful to practitioners, researchers, and academicians from spiritual and alternative perspectives.
The JIMS welcomes two categories of manuscripts: articles of Islamic management interest that have direct practical implications and value based management of practitioners, and academic articles which may take the form of research papers, literature reviews including book reviews or their equivalents.
With effect from the year 2024 onwards, JIMS welcomes articles in Arabic language as follows:

مجلة دراسات في الإدارة الإسلامية هي مجلة أكاديمية محكمة ومهنية تخضع للتقييم المهني ، وهي تابعة للأكاديمية العالمية للإدارة الإسلامية ، تهدف المجلة للإسهام في تطوير المعرفة والممارسات في مجالات مهمة في الإدارة والقيادة الإسلامية وبناءا عليه تمثل المجلة المعرفة النظرية والتطبيقية المهمة للباحثين والممارسين والأكاديميين من جوانب بديلة وجوانب روحية.
ترحب المجلة بفئتين من المقالات: مقالات تهتم بالإدارة الإسلامية ذات تأثير مباشر وقيمة للمُمارسِين ومقالات أكاديمية ذات الطابع الأكاديمي قد تكون على شكل مقالات بحث علمي أو عرض لأدبيات معينة بما في ذلك عروض لكتب معينة أو ما يقابلها.
Authors are welcome to submit original manuscripts of between 5,000 and 8,000 words on topics in the following areas (Please note that the list is not exhaustive):
نرحب بالمؤلفين ونحثهم على تقديم أبحاثهم العلمية الأصلية ونحثهم على أن تتراوح عدد الكلمات في مقالاتهم بين 5000 و 8000 كلمة في أي من المواضيع أو المجالات التالية (يرجى التنويه على أن القائمة التالية لا تشمل جميع المجالات)

Publication Ethics /أخلاقيات النشر
WAIM publishes the Journal of Islamic Management Studies (JIMS), a highly preferred alternative approach to the studies of management. The JIMS is published by the World Academy of Islamic Management twice a year and has been publishing articles, book reviews, and research papers conducted on management issues since 2017.
تتبع الأكاديمية العالمية للإدارة الإسلامية متناولا بديلا مفضلا للدراسات الإدارية ، حيث تتبع مجلة دراسات في الإدارة الإسلامية للأكاديمية العالمية للإدارة الإسلامية وتصدر مرتين في السنة وقد بدأت المجلة بنشر الأبحاث وفصول الكتب والأبحاث العلمية منذ عام 2017 إلى الآن.
While publishing JIMS, we require authors to strictly adhere to the following code of ethics, which the editorial team has ensured throughout its publication history:
إننا في مجلة دراسات في الإدارة الإسلامية نطلب من المؤلفين أن يتبعوا قواعد الأخلاق التالية والتي عمل فريق المجلة على تطبيقها منذ أن بدأت المجلة بنشر الأبحاث:
· JIMS does not charge any publication fees from the authors for the time being. But will do the needful in future.
لا تفرض مجلة دراسات في الإدارة الإسلامية أي رسوم على المؤلفين في الوقت الحالي
· JIMS treats all submitted articles equally and processes them for review.
تتعامل مجلة دراسات في الإدارة الإسلامية مع جميع المقالات المقدمة بمبدأ المساواة وتعرضهم على المقيّمين على هذا الأساس
· All articles submitted to JIMS are double-blind, peer-reviewed professionally. The editorial team's decision on a paper largely depends upon the reviewers' comments and their recommendations. A third reviewer's evaluation is sought when no clear decision has emerged from the first two reviewers' reports. JIMS always maintains confidentiality of reviewers’ identities.
جميع المقالات المقدمة للمجلة يتم عرضها على أكثر من مقيّم بشكل سري حيث يتم تقييم المقالات بشكل مهني ، ويعتمد قرار فريق النشر بشكل كبير على الملاحظات والتوصيات التي يقدمها المقيّمون، وفي حال لم يتضح قرار النشر من المُقيّميْن يجري فريق النشر تقييما ثالثا لضمان جودة قرار النشر، وتقوم المجلة بالحفاظ على السرية في جميع مراحل التقييم وصولا للنشر.
· Authorships are encouraged to those who have made a significant contribution to the work, including the co-authors.
تشجع المجلة المؤلفين على المساهمة في عملية كتابة الأبحاث بما في ذلك المؤلفين المساعدين للمؤلف الرئيس للبحث المقدم.
· JIMS never likes to publish any plagiarised work and takes the matter very seriously. In the case of plagiarism, the concerned author is notified, and he/she is barred from any future submission.
مجلة دراسات في الإدارة الإسلامية تأخذ مسألة السرقة العلمية (الغُش) بشكل جدي ولا تنشر أبحاث مأخوذة من أعمال أخرى ، وفي حال تورط المؤلفين في عملية السرقة العلمية سيتم منعه أو منعها من النشر مستقبلا.
· Self-plagiarism is not condoned either with a justified exception of a certain percentage. An author can not submit fully the same materials that have been published elsewhere.
لا تتغاضى المجلة عن السرقة الأكاديمية حتى لو حاول المؤلف تبريرها، فلا يحق للمؤلف تقديم نفس المواد التي تم نشرها سابقا.
· It is highly unethical to submit an article concurrently to more than one journal.
تعتبر المجلة تقديم أي مقال لأكثر من مجلة في نفس الوقت عملا غير أخلاقي
· The authors must not infringe any copyright. While preparing the paper, if any copyrighted materials are used, it is the authors’ responsibility to seek permission from the copyright owners. Any breach of copyright will result in retraction of the published paper. Any commission of errors the author will be legally responsible for.
لا يحق للمؤلفين انتهاك أي من حقوق النشر، كما يتحمل المؤلفون مسؤولية طلب السماح من أصحاب حقوق النشر لاستخدام أي مواد من مواد تم نشرها وكانت فيها حقوق النشر محفوظة، كما تؤكد المجلة على أنه أي انتهاك لحقوق النشر سيؤدي لسحب المقالة المنشورة ، كما يتحمل المؤلفون المسؤولية القانونية عن أي أخطاء قد يرتكبوها.
· In the reviewing process, if any reviewer finds a conflict of interest, he/she shall refrain from reviewing the manuscript and will return the manuscript to the JIMS desk.
في حال ثَبُتَ وجود تعارض مصالح لأي من المُقيّمين، أثناء عملية التقييم ، يتوجب على المُقيّم أن يُعِيد المقالة لفريق المجلة.
Articles written in Arabic must have an abstract translated into English with key words
يجب أن يحتوي البحث المكتوب باللغة العربية على ملخص مترجم للغة الانجليزية مع الكلمات المفتاحية
